Ipsen experts of the different disciplines can also be contacted through the Service Center as required. This direct communication allows plant availability to be restored without delay after a system fault.

If immediate support is required following any component failure, an Ipsen service engineer will mobilize to site to repair the damage by replacing the failed component. This minimizes downtime allowing operation to be restored for plant re-integration into the ongoing production process.

For instrumentation and control-related failures, trouble shooting and failure repair is supported to a major extent by direct communication between the computers either via modem, in combination with an analog phone line, a digital phone line (ISDN) or by a VPN connection. This allows our expert to check software in real time and detect errors caused by incorrect operator entries or computer system faults.

In each case, the original software stored at Ipsen can be transferred to the customer's computer system and any changes or corrections made directly by our expert.
